Jackson Maynard is a lawyer with over two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors. He holds the following degrees: a Bachelor of Science in International Relations; a Masters degree in History, and a Juris Doctorate, all from Florida State University. He has experience in criminal and civil law as well as public policy. He first served as a prosecutor and later as a civil attorney in private practice, including nearly four years as a construction lawyer with the Florida Department of Transportation. In addition, he served as General Counsel at the Building Industry Association of Washington, representing the largest business trade association in the state.

Moreover, Jackson has worked directly on the crafting of public policy as both a staff attorney with the Florida House of Representatives and as senior staff counsel with the Washington State Senate, where he spent eight years focusing on Transportation and the Law and Justice Committees.

Regardless of the legal or policy issue, Jackson has a proven track record of providing sound advice and solving problems.

He is admitted to the bars of Washington State, Florida, Texas, and the District of Columbia.  He is also admitted to several federal bars including the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, the 9th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
